A Shield and Refuge Ministry is supported by donations. Donations pay for ongoing expenses of the ministry, including the living expenses of full-time missionary/director Doris Hanson, and other outreach and ministry efforts and materials. In addition, Shield and Refuge also provides for the immediate physical needs and emergency needs of exiting polygamist families.
A Shield and Refuge Ministry is also asking the Lord to provide a larger-scale safe house, residence facility, and resource center to be able to assist greater numbers of polygamist refugees. Perhaps you would like to consider making a donation toward this important ministry!

TIME, TALENTS, and OTHER RESOURCES
• Open your home for a short-term stay for polygamist refugees
• Be available to join a "resuce team" to help provide a safe exit for a polygamist woman (and sometimes her children) from a Fundamentalist home.
• Provide life skills training to those getting established on the outside
• Offer professional services (legal, medical, social work, etc.) pro-bono for polygamist refugees.
• Offer employment or job training to polygamist refugees getting started
• Volunteer to help with the production of Polygamy: What Love Is This? television program
